AGM - 22 JAN
Our club AGM will take place on January 22nd at the golf club and will start with a buffet funded by the club, and the bar will be open too. Club award will be presented.
A formal invitation will be sent in January and we really hope to see you there. There will of course be elections for committee positions and all roles are up for re-election. We would love to welcome new people onto the management committee. Roles include:
- Chairman
- Vice-chairman
- Secretary
- Captain
- Press liaison
- Treasurer
- Events co-ordinator
After three very enjoyable years it will be time for me to hand over the job of captain to someone else.If you are interested feel free to talk to me or one of the current committee about what is involved: there are a few specific jobs such as the newsletter, but you can of course do the role in whatever way you wish. I have loved the role and highly recommend it.
Kate intends to hand over the role of secretary after having done sterling work in the job for several years.
WINTER CROSS-COUNTRY
The local cross-country league is about to start. Although we do not have enough entrants to participate in the league itself we have been invited by the other clubs to run as guests. You should run in WaldenTRI kit but don't collect a finisher's token at the end. Specific details for each race will be posted in this newsletter in due course.
